Advancing Technology from a Different Perspective

keeping up with technology

While I have been writing about the importance of keeping up with technology for small businesses, I was reminded of a blog post I put up last year. My dad is a creative writer and wrote a humorous story about how he has kept up with technology.

For a little comic relief, something we can all use, check out: Keeping up with Technology.

Enjoy :)

  2. Thanks Sherryl. My grandfather was also a published children's book author – many moons ago. He had a totally different writing style though.

  3. I loved your Dad's post Jule. I see where you get your writing skills from. :)

  4. HI Keith. You know that wheel the hamsters have in their cages? That is our lives trying to keep up with technology LOL. A kindle is an electronic book. I only know because i asked someone! I am waiting for something to come out that is electronic that will READ to me too because I can't see anything without my glasses. Maybe it is here already? Oy!

    Hi Julie
I think that your title says it all.
If you blog on WordPress you could spend the rest of your life updating.
Looks as those producing the technology have us over a barrel.
I'll nip over and read your previous post.
BTW – what exactly is a kindle? LOL

  6. HI Aaron. I agree with you that no matter how high-tech our gadgets become – the old rules of reputation and relatiionships remain paramount. As a matter of fact, I wrote a blog post and made a video on this site about the same subject :)

The taste of our generation is fast changing.  No wonder why many people considered high-tech gadgets as important part of our lives.  Upon that condition, we can’t hide the fact that old school in businesses still remains.

I posted a comment last week, but the imps must have got rid of it. Really liked this by your dad and he obviously has a way with words.
