  1. Hey Rob, there are so many different ways to create videos, some are easy, some are a little more complicated, but all are doable. As we discussed, I am here when you need/want some help :)

As we have discussed video and audio are next for me.  I will get there eventually.  You do make it look easy.

  3. Thanks Keyuri – especially for your appreciation of my NOT using voice but rather using animation and music. I think there is definitely a place for both in utilizing video – depends upon the content and purpose of the video. For instance, for an educational/instructional video, I think that vocal narration would be more appropriate.

Excellent video.  Great points.  One thing I appreciate is that a video doesn't have to include a live human rendering a boring elevator speech.  I love the way you used animation and music to convey points.

  5. Hi Kate. I would not call that hypocrisy – I would call that a really nice compliment :) Most definitely – tourism businesses need to use visuals to attract clients.

  6. Julie – allow me a bit of hypocrisy…although I haven't quite made the leap to video for my own brand, I'm certainly mentioning it to clients as the perfect way to highlight their tourism businesses! Thanks for making it crystal clear why video works.

  7. Thanks Jeannette. This one was really fun to make. This is true, people want to be entertained which is why I try to create videos that are fun and informative.

  8. Julie — Excellent video, and so true.  To add to your list, the internet, TV and movies have changed the way people want their information.  They are used to seeing moving images and exciting graphics.  I have to admit I'm still tied to words on "paper" in my blog.  But I know video is the new direction.  Congratulations on a fine primer.
