It is All About the Value Your Provide as Your Industry Expert!

teach valueYou don’t have to be the originator or all the content you provide to your target market. YES original content is important so you should definitely provide as much original content as you have. However, there are many other ways to help establish yourself as your industry expert. How?

Share Other Industry Expert’s Content

Does this mean take someone else’s content and put your name on it? NO! That would be stealing! It DOES mean that you could and should SHARE their content with your target market/lists/clients/potential clients.

Be Selective, Do Your Research

You don’t want to just share anything. Remember your goal is to provide VALUABLE information from other authorities in your niche. The more value you provide, the more people will follow you, listen to you, and know where to go when they need answers/solutions/products/services. How?

Set up an RSS Feed

Don’t listen to me – this is not my area of expertise. However, it IS one of Kimberly Castleberry’s so read her post Create or Subscribe To Google+ Public Shares By RSS Feed with PlusFeed. How’s that for a real-life example of what this post is about? :)

Such a great article with useful information! I admit it, that if you want to sell or advertise something, you have to be an expert of your niche. In the online marketing scene, trust is one of the most important things. You can’t assure your audience with your smile or your personal marketing skills, because the only channel you can sell your product, is your blog/online store. You who would trust you if you seem to be an amateur?

I believe that, as the old saying goes, there’s nothing (entirely) new under the sun. But if you can take a tried-and-true idea, put a new and profitable spin on it, and crank it out as content, you just might be considered an innovator in your niche.

  26. Betty Daily says:

Great Points, wording content to keep readers interest has always been the hardest thing for me

To manage a well-working SEO strategy, it is necessary to be an expert of the topic which you’re into. For example, let’s look at the keyword research process. If you don’t know the industry which you advertising for, you don’t know which keywords could be the most relevant.

  29. Chalenevans says:

Being an expert in this industry have to take more challenges and learning. We must try to read other blogs from the “experts” so that we can get some detailed information that will help us to move up.

  33. Julie says:

Unfortunately, Google already controls our online world; they collect information from our search results, blogging habits, social media activity etc. I haven’t decided if this is terrible or something necessary, but it is sad but true. We only can accept it. Or live our lives offline, but I can’t picture it myself.

  34. Julie says:

Hi Catarina, “sometimes” you wonder? :) Have you heard that Google is also controlling the search results we see when searching in Google? I forgot the details but it has something to do with your social profiles, and search history. That is kind of scary. Well at least Kimberly provided an alternative, right?

  35. Catarina says:

Julie sometimes I wonder what’s wrong with the world.

Kim wrote it the link you provided “not only has Google NOT provided a RSS output but that they’ve financially punished every developer that has tried to set one up”. Must be all about making as many people as possible visit Google +. What else?
