  1. Good video Julie. I have read a number of times that social media such as Facebook has helped people network who are not that outgoing and comfortable face to face.

  2. Isn't it funny? I agree with your comment but still don't think anything beats face-toface networking!

  3. Great find! This one will definitely go viral. While Facebook has a long way to go when it comes to having decent usability we can't argue with the fact that the masses love it.
There seem to be different kinds of people when it comes to online networking versus face-to-face meetings. I am totally happy only knowing people online. Some of my closest collaborators and friends online have never met in person and probably never will.

  4. Hi Gail, it already did go viral – big time. One good thing about online networking is it doesn't matter if we are having a bad hair day right? LOL. Thanks for stopping by my blog and I am glad you enjoyed the video.

  5. What a great laugh.
Oh, I feel like an old fuddy duddy.  I cherish face to face interactions or the telephone.  When I can hear the tones in someone's voice, I seem to know everything I need to know.  Also, I miss getting a snail mail birthday card on my one special day.  Is FB letting us get away with things?
On the flip side… I know all sorts of things about all sorts of people including my son and his friends…. but don't get me wrong…. I'm no voyeur…..  :-)

  6. Hi Keyuri,

I think you are too young to consider yourself a "fuddy duddy" :) You bring up a really great point about non-verbal or in this case non-visual communication such as tone of voice being a very good indicator of who someone is and what they are really saying.

On your other hand….. my children are much older and there are times I would prefer NOT to know some things…. LOL

  7. Man, those guys look creepy. What is it about facebook that inspires so many of these songs and videos? Who has that kind of time? :) Hooray for social interaction!

  8. LOL good one Dennis. I often wonder the same thing myself. Taken one step further, have you ever wondered who has the time to spend/waste coming up with these viruses that can literally blow up our computers? That one boggles my mind!

  9. Haha! I so love the song. Well done! Can't quite grasp how Facebook has influenced so many people's life. It's overwhelming!

  10. Thanks Anne – yes it is. I intend to see if I can adopt Mark Zuckerberg so when I do, I will try to get inside his brain and see how he came up with the FB concept :)
