What Does Unlimited Sub-Domains Mean?

unlimited subdomains

It Means You Have the Ability & Resources to Create Webpages for ALL the Different Things You Promote

BrandingWhat does that mean? OK, if you are a network marketer, your company probably supplies you with a replicated website, right? That means that you can now send a customer or opportunity prospect to YOUR rep ID on the company website to buy or join. Great! But who is the person doing business with? You or the “company”? REMEMBER, people like to do business with people they KNOW, LIKE, & TRUST. You are not the company, you are YOU! So…

  1. With unlimited sub-domains, you will now be sending these prospects to a page that is branded to YOU – not the company. You can decide what information you want to include on that page and you might very well decide that you will include much of the same information that is on your replicated website. However, this page will have YOU on it: your brand, your face, your video, etc. You get the point.
  2. In addition, let’s say your company sells 8 different products along with the business opportunity. With your replicated website, you have ONE place to send your customers/prospects. You might have a separate customer site that has different pages for each product. That can be a little overwhelming for someone to have to search ONE website for the product they are looking for. What if they aren’t interested in the other products? With unlimited sub-domains, you can SUPER target your marketing for each offering and each market – thereby increasing your chances of reaching a specific target
  3. How about SEO? Are YOU being found in search when someone searches for company ABC’s latest skin cream or is the company you are a rep for being found? The answer to that is pretty obvious!

WAIT! I am NOT a Network Marketer so Why Should I Care About Unlimited Sub-Domains?

Does your company promote only ONE thing? Is your target market only one demographic? If so, then maybe you don’t have as strong a need for unlimited sub-domains; however, you can STILL super focus your targeted marketing

Do you promote more than ONE offering? Many do. Many folks are business coaches, affiliate marketers, have written or are writing a book, etc. Your website might or might not include all these aspects of “you”. With unlimited sub-domains, you can create a separate Sales Funnels for each offering. You can and probably should direct your sales pages BACK to your website where the “call-to-action” can be carried out: “buy now”, “sign-up now”, etc. You can and SHOULD SEO your sub-domains with the same targeted keyword/keyword phrases as you have on your website so you are increasing your changes of being found in search for your targeted niche. You have also now added the ability to capture leads, follow-up automatically with a targeted auto-responder campaign, and get people to your sales page for EACH of your offerings without having to either have multiple websites of complicated over-stuffed websites.

This Must Cost a Fortune, Right?

NOPE! Only $29.97/month or free with 3 paying referrals, and oh by-the-way, this is ONLY ONE small piece of an ENTIRE MARKETING SYSTEM for YOU for the same low-cost and easily FREE.

Why Should Someone Opt-In So You Can Build Your List?

industry expert knowledgeWhen you are building your list, what is your optin offer to entice prospects to join your “list”?  You can give away products you purchase, or products you have gotten for free, or you can create your own optin offer. There is nothing wrong with using a product you purchase or get free, but remember that you are not the only one giving away that same product.

Why Not Create Your Own Give-Away/Opt-in Offer?

You have information in your brain that is valuable and/or helpful to your target market. How do you get that information into a format that you can give to prospects in exchange for their contact information?

How to Create Your Own Give-Away For Your List Opt-in Form

Establish Yourself As Your Industry Expert

By sharing your knowledge to build your list, you are also establishing yourself as your industry-expert because you are. People like to do business with people they know, like, and trust. The “trust” comes from them seeing that you know what you are talking about. The “know” comes from the emails/phone calls/follow-up YOU do after they opt-in to your list. The “like” is up to you LOL. Sometimes this is simply a chemistry – or not – issue.

Create Your Own Cool-Looking eCovers

Once you have your valuable offer, how do you package it and make it look pretty? There are many options available for you to be able to create a professional-looking cover for your work. The 4 Key Questions You Must Ask!

your own businessEvery year millions of people answer “Yes” when asked if “they are ready to start their own business” and every year that answer costs many of them money, time, confidence, and heartache.

According to the SBA, two-thirds of new businesses survive at least two years and 44 percent survive at least four years. Two of the key factors in the survival rate and ability to thrive for new business owners are the owner’s education level and the owner’s reason for starting their own business in the first place.

There are resources available to small business owners that not everyone might be aware of. See ” Are You Taking Advantage of the FREE Mentoring Available to all Small Business Owners?” for more information about SCORE (An association with over 12,500 volunteer small business owners and executives who are still working, retired, and in-transition who give their time to counsel and mentor entrepreneurs and other small business owners).

How can you make sure you come out a winner in this “game”? The answer depends upon many things, including your answers to the following questions:

1. Are You Ready

Have you mentally prepared yourself for the changes that will take place when you switch from employee to boss? You are going to be the one making decisions now about everything! You will be in complete control and you have to be sure you are prepared for this type of responsibility. This can be a double-edged sword in that the desire for complete control is often the driving force behind many people’s decision to start their own business yet it can also be the source of much angst for entrepreneurs.

It is important to remember that in a small business you will wear many hats. Even if you manage to start out with one or more employees you will each fulfill more than one role in your new business. And if you are running a one-man or one-woman show then you serve in every capacity from file clerk to maintenance crew to salesman to CEO. Can you handle switching from task to task and role to role like that? Are you willing to make those switches?

Similarly, have you prepared your family and friends for this switch in attitude. Your life is going to change — probably pretty drastically — and that change can have a positive or negative impact on your family life and social interactions. It will make things much easier if your friends and family are supportive going into the process.

2. Where Is Your Niche?

Have you identified your niche yet? One of the reasons many businesses fail is that they fail to focus on a target audience. Yes if you are a major discount chain then you can sell everything from peanuts to wallpaper but this type of business requires vast resources that just aren’t available to the small business. But small businesses dominate the marketplace (creating more than 50 percent of the private gross domestic product last year) by finding a different approach — a niche.

Knowing your niche means you are better able to find, target, and maintain your customers as well as provide the best possible goods and services to that customer base. That focus is one of your best chances to not only survive but to thrive in a very competitive marketplace.

3. What Is Your Plan Of Action?

Another key factor in the survival and ultimate success of your business is how much planning you do before you open your electronic or physical doors. You need to decide if your business will be based on the internet or include more traditional models. Are you going to work full-time or part-time at your new business? Are you going to hire help or go solo? Have you written (or at least outlined) your business plan? Dreaming, thinking and planning can save you much trouble and waste later when things are hectic and problems strike. Planning can also help keep you focused and to balance your spending and time.

4. Who Are You Going To Call?

Ghost Busters! Sorry, couldn’t resist that one :) At some point, no matter how experienced a business person you are, you will need help. You will need support, advice, tools, or information — or all of the above. One of the beautiful, and most frightening, aspects of growth is that it can lead you to places you never imagined. No matter how much planning and experience you bring to your new position as CEO the unexpected will arise. How will you cope with this? It is important to recognize that no business is an island. It is not failure to seek help. Failure is when your business shuts down because you didn’t get the help you needed.

The best way to get timely help is to work on your support system while you work on building your business. That way you will already have a ready list of resources available that you can quickly tap into when emergencies strike. In today’s world there are many marvelous resources available to you no matter what your business model may be. These include:

~ Publications (newsletters, magazines, books)
~ People (professional advisers, mentors, teachers, consultants)
~ Networks (organizations and forums in your niche as well as general business and marketing)
~ Education and training (tutorials, courses, and seminars)

After you have answered these four key questions you are now ready to ask yourself that one big question again — are you ready to start your own business?

video marketing wow
The number one business success factor is effective communication of your message. Without that, nothing else matters. How can you effectively communicate your message?

Use the Power of Video

Video has virtually universal Internet availability and usage. Low cost high speed Internet computing capability and speed of light video enhancements have become the great communicator enabler. Combined visual, audio, and video communication have been proven to be exponentially more effective in gaining retention of your message.

Afraid of Video Marketing?

Fear of Video Marketing Go Away and Don’t Come Back Another Day! Hello Easy Video Suite!

Video Marketing Had to Evolve. It was Inevitable.

easy video suiteIt was becoming much too complicated. And if it isn’t too complicated for some people, it’s still definitely too time consuming.

BEVS (Before Easy Video Suite) You had to worry about:

  • Redoing videos over and over again to make sure you got everything right in one take or face the daunting task of loading your raw video into Camtasia or another editor to make everything perfect.
  • Making sure your videos were optimized for the web (So they looked good and didn’t take too long to start playing).
  • Having a different mobile version of your videos to show users of iPhone, iPad, Android and other mobile devices (More and more people are doing most of the web viewing from their smart phones and other mobile devices).
  • Basically using “duct-tape” to try and put all the pieces together with Camtasia, Screenflow, Jing, Handbrake while continually looking for the “perfect” solution to make it all easier or less time consuming.
  • Uploading large files to your own server, Youtube, Amazon S3 or other video hosting service.
  • Getting the proper code in place to display your videos with the hope that mobile devices would be able to see the mobile version of your video.

Well, Someone Has Finally Done Something About it!

Josh Bartlett, the creator of the industries leading video player called Easy Video Player, has truly done something innovative in video marketing.

His Easy Video Player software had game-changing features two years ago that other video marketing solutions have just recently tried to introduce.

And on top of that, Josh could boast about the following:

  • Tens of thousands of satisfied customers.
  • The lowest refund rate in the industry for Clickbank (Only 2%).
  • More top marketers and 6 to 7 figure launches use Easy Video Player than anything else. (Mike Filsaime, Chris Farrel, Ryan Deiss, Jason Moffatt, Maria Andros, Justin Brooke to name a few).

Rather than throw in a few, new and “cool” features and re-launch his product simply for the money, he listened to his customers and did something else.

He took over two years and hundreds of thousands of his own dollars to create something that will change the way you market your business with videos. He has TRULY made video marketing easy!

You’ll now be able to record, edit, publish, market and track all your videos with one, easy-to-use solution.

With Easy Video Suite You Can Now:

  • Drag and drop your video into a desktop application (Mac and Pc Compatible) that will optimize and convert (no need for Handbrake anymore) your video for the web, let you edit if needed, upload it and give you the code to copy and paste to your website.
  • Record your screen or face camera from within this application and even draw on the screen.
  • Never worry about whether users on mobile devices can see your videos (It creates and displays a mobile version of your videos for you).
  • Split test your videos to see which ones are shared the most, have the most engagement and which versions make the most money.

That’s just scratching the surface…

What all this ultimately means for you is that marketing your business with videos is going to be much, much easier.

And you’ll make a ton more money while having more time to do what you love.

Are You a Procrastinator?

procrastinateProcrastination is a common psychological behavior that most people exhibit at some point in their lives. There usually aren’t negative or long-term consequences to occasional procrastination, however, when it becomes more of an invasive trait, it can be a real problem – especially for a small business owner who really needs to accomplish things in order to make money.

It is a well-known fact that if we understand the reasons behind our behaviors, we will be putting ourselves in a better position to improve those behaviors that have negative consequences. For the small business owner, procrastination might very well sabotage his/her ultimate goal – success. They become their own worst enemy and a major obstacle in the success of their own business. Procrastinators might have the best intentions but often give credence to the phrase “good intentions are good for nothing”.

To get beyond your tendency to procrastinate, you will need to understand the reason(s) behind your behavior and use some strong will to overcome this tendency. There are many underlying reasons for procrastination that are often related to one another.

You are Feeling Overwhelmed

It is not uncommon for someone who is faced with complex or too many high priority tasks to feel overwhelmed. Because there is so much to do, one might not know where to start and may actually end up doing nothing. To overcome this it would help to break down the tasks into more manageable units that can be addressed step-by-step. If the task at hand is too complex and beyond your understanding, don’t be afraid to ask for help. As a small business owner, you might believe you should know everything. However, no one knows everything, so you need to realize and acknowledge this fact and don’t feel inadequate. There is help available for everyone about everything 24 hours a day. Use Google! Just type in your question in the search bar and you might be surprised at how much information you will find right at your fingertips.

Poor Organization Skills

You might think that everything has a due date of yesterday, but it will be more beneficial for you to admit that some things do have a higher priority than others. Try to review your to-do list objectively and consider what the true top priority items are. Make a list with those most important at the top and put the items that really can wait until tomorrow at the bottom. You will get to them – just not today.

Inability to Make Decisions/Fear of Making a Wrong Decision

Some people find it very difficult to make a decision. They evaluate all the available options over and over and over again without coming to any conclusions. They are looking for a guaranty that their decision is the right one, but we all know that the only two guaranties in life are death and taxes. While it is important to weigh your options carefully and make informed decisions, not making decisions will get you nowhere. Don’t be afraid to make a wrong decision because at some point in your business career, you will more than likely make more than one wrong decision. Assure yourself that you did all the necessary research and analysis and if your decision ends up being wrong, try to understand why and where you went wrong. Making a decision in business is no different than making a decision in our personal lives. Making mistakes is part of being human and small business owners are human. Just be sure that you deal with your mistakes without self-blame (or blaming others) and that you also learn from them. Give yourself a time-limit to come to a decision and stick to it.

You Tend to be a Perfectionist

You want everything you do to be perfect so you often end up doing nothing. No one is perfect and no one can expect themselves to be perfect. Perfectionists are constantly under stress as they strive to reach their goal because it is an unrealistic one. If you are a small business owner who is a perfectionist, sit back and objectively think about how this tendency is affecting your profits, which is your ultimate goal, and you will realize how your ideals are actually counterproductive. Lower your standards to a more realistic level, allow yourself the chance to be human and you will find that you will be much more effective.

The bottom line is, if you find yourself procrastinating more than you are comfortable with, break your projects into manageable tasks, make a prioritized list of tasks within a realistic and objective timeline, and allow yourself to be human by making decisions and forgiving yourself should you make a bad one.

Video Marketing Rises in Popularity: Do You Have a Strategy?

video marketing strategy New Horizon 123 Online videos have become more accessible and are starting to become expected by your website visitors. As a business owner, you really want to give your prospective clients what they are looking for, make their user-experience easier, make your brand stand-out, be memorable, and increase your leads to sales conversions. Make your product or service offerings clear, creative, and easy-to-understand in the 3 seconds you have of your target’s attention before they are moving onto the next site.

It always helps to put yourself in the shoes of your prospects. If you are looking for a product or service, come across two sites with the same offerings – all other things being equal – would you spend more time on the website that had a compelling video right on the home page that quickly and concisely answers your questions or one that has no video and a lot of text to read through in order to determine if that site’s offering fulfills your needs?

Do You Have A Video Strategy?

So now you have realized that you need to use a video to make your website visitor quickly “get” what you are about. You also know that the more compelling and engaging your video is, the more likely they will be to stay and watch the video. Now that you know where you want to be, how do you get “there”? Jumping in without knowing exactly where you are going is likely to get you “lost”.

What is Your Goal?

video marketing strategy
Video Marketing just like any other marketing requires a strategy. Creating a video alone is not enough. What are you going to do with the video? Before you start your video you need to know what your goal is. Not everyone will have the same goals and/or strategies.

This post is a result of my recent experience working with someone whose goal for a video was not the same as mine, hence the reminder to myself to start at step one!

Make sure your goals and your client’s are in alignment!

Below are the strategies I use when creating videos as “teasers”. They might not work for everyone but for the most part, I have had success with this strategy. Hopefully, you will find it helpful. :)

Engage the Audience

If you don’t grab the views attention in the first few seconds, you will lose them and the remainder of your video content will not be seen. This is my favorite area as it allows me to be creative. Everyone has different tastes as far as images and music and you need to be certain that your client’s preferences are met if you are making a video for a client. Hence my video order form where I specifically ask the client to specify their preferences. For my own videos, I like to use fun, sometimes silly, definitely memorable, and very creative images, animations, and music. I realize that not everyone has the same tastes as I do and you can’t please everyone all the time. I was actually recently surprised to hear that a recent client loved what I refer to as the “Pillsbury dough boy guys” – you never know until you ask.

Provide an Outline

The video should summarize your content and basically be an outline of where your viewer can find “more” information. If you provide ALL the details and your video is totally comprehensive, you have now given a tutorial rather than a “teaser”/introduction video. Of course, a tutorial is also a video and if this is your goal – then you need to create a tutorial. Here is an example of a video I did according to this strategy: The 16th Way to Leverage Your Linkedin Account: The Behance Network. Here is the tutorial I created for the same topic: How to Use The 16th Way to Leverage Your Linkedin Account. See, you can have more than one strategy but you need to know which strategy you are following BEFORE you create yours or a client video.

Establish Yourself as a Thought Leader

This is key! If you don’t let your target know that you are the source of valuable information, they won’t know where to go when they need or want more information.

People like to do business with people they know and trust. Use your videos to help your target market “know” you and trust that you are your industry’s expert. How do you do that? Continue to provide them with information they want/need so that YOU or YOUR business is where they will go when they need or want to make a purchase. This is also a great way to up-sell an existing client – make yourself the “source” for value.

Continuously Provide Value

A cute or entertaining video is fine and if your goal is ONLY to entertain – then you have achieved that goal. However, if your goal is to establish yourself as a thought-leader, you need to be sure your video has valuable content. Have you ever watched a video or read an article that looks as though you are going to learn something from it and then when you are done you realize you learned nothing? Don’t tell your audience in your title or description that they will learn something and then not provide that content. Deliver on what you promise and continue to provide value!

Make Them Want to Hear More

If you give away ALL the information in your video, what is left for the viewer to do? If you are providing a tutorial, then yes, do provide all the information or you will not be delivering what you promise. However, if your goal (there is that “word” again) is to help establish you as a thought leader, create an awareness about a product or service, let people know where they should go for more information, have them watch a full tutorial, or make a purchase, then don’t give away the store in this video. If you want them to do more but include EVERYTHING in this video, guess what? They have no reason to look any further! TELL them what their next step is so that if they choose to, they can take that step. Here is an example of a “Teaser Video”: 15 Ways to Develop Your Linkedin Account to Generate Sale. The goal of this video was to get the viewer to the FULL tutorial presentation. This is the call to action at the end of this video – it leads directly to the full presentation. See the difference between what I am calling a “Teaser” video and a tutorial? There are many different possible goals/strategies for a video – just be sure you know before you start, what your goal is.

Call to Action

What do you want the viewer to do after watching your video? If you don’t know exactly what that is, neither will they.
