  1. Hi Dora, I agree with you that if one over-uses calls-to-action that say “buy” now or uses them too early in the sales cycle, then it can have a negative effect. Is that the same thing you have seen?

  2. Dora says:

I totally agree, that calling to action has got its benefits, although it’s used overdosed in the most cases, I’m afraid. And that actually has got already a negative effect, people won’t trust your product/service because you don’t sound self-confident.

  3. Hi Zathe, You are right, wouldn’t it be nice if we knew ahead of time exactly WHICH capital letters and which exclamation points would attract the attention of which people? :) Kim, which specific calls to action work best for you? Thanks Matt for agreeing with us :)

  4. Matt says:

Its something people can overlook very easily, CTA’s are definately essential for traffic to flow to the right places. Thanks

  5. Kim says:

Julie, you are right. I have personally experienced the value of adding call to action terms in my newsletters and ad banners this had increased my conversion from when i was ignoring them to add. Must add it.

  6. Zathe Greste says:

It’s amazing how simple words can reach a person in a different way. The capital letters as well as the exclamation makes the offer, the product etc; sound amazing, limited and available only today. Great tips, thanks.

  7. Hi Simone, definitely “yes”. Whatever one does always depends upon their niche, audience and offerings. The point is that you should always include a call-to-action – whichever one(s) works best for your circumstances. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog! Happy Holidays!

  8. Simone says:

Doesn’t the best call to action differ from site to site, audience to audience, and depending on the product? Or are there a few that are good for any industry?

  9. Thanks Gamin and Rusties. I am glad you found the information helpful! :)

  10. Rusties says:
